The best books in the beauty industry
I often get asked what books can help a newbie out in the beauty industry. I’ve done a lot of research, and although I may not have had time to read every single book, I thought I would pull together a list of the best books in the beauty industry.
I’m only including recent materials and materials which have decent reviews.
If you have any you would like to add to the list, just message me, and I would love to add it!
Update: My new favourite book
The Beauty Industry Survival Guide: A Salon Professional’s Handbook
I want you to check out my new favourite book by Tina Alberino. It covers everything from ownership, to policies, to social media and tons more. It is an all in one, must-have book for anyone in the esthetics or spa industry.
Save yourself some time and money and buy this book right when you get out of school. And if you are already in the industry, this book will help you navigate some of the “issues” we have in our industry. My favourite chapter is “Things your school should have taught you (But probably didn’t)”
